International Journal of Agricultural Studies and Research
Welcome to the website of the International Journal of Agricultural Studies and Research (IJASR). These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the journal website, manuscript submission services, editorial communications, and related publication services.
In these Terms, “Journal,” “IJASR,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the International Journal of Agricultural Studies and Research and its publishing management. “Author,” “Reviewer,” “User,” and “Visitor” refer to individuals who submit manuscripts, participate in editorial activities, or access the website.
By accessing the website or using the journal’s services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the applicable journal policies. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the relevant services.
The International Journal of Agricultural Studies and Research (IJASR) publishes scholarly contributions within its stated aims and scope, including agricultural studies, research, and related academic disciplines.
The journal may consider original research articles, review papers, case studies, short communications, and other scholarly contributions appropriate to its scope.
The Editorial Board determines whether a manuscript is suitable for consideration. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
IJASR publishes online in English on a half-yearly schedule, consisting of two issues per year.
The journal aims to maintain its stated publication schedule. Exceptional circumstances, editorial requirements, technical problems, or other events beyond reasonable control may cause delays. Material changes to the publication schedule will be communicated where appropriate.
Authors submitting manuscripts must:
Have made an appropriate scholarly contribution to the work.
Ensure that all listed co-authors have approved the final manuscript and its submission.
Identify the corresponding author accurately.
Provide complete and truthful author affiliations and contact details.
Ensure that the manuscript does not infringe third-party rights.
Disclose relevant funding, conflicts of interest, and other information required by the journal.
AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical compliance of all submitted material, including content prepared with AI assistance. Any AI use must be disclosed where required by the journal’s author guidelines.
Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s designated submission channel and in the required format.
By submitting a manuscript, the author confirms that:
The work is original or that any previously disseminated material has been disclosed appropriately.
The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal at the same time, unless the journal has expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
All necessary permissions for third-party material have been obtained.
Research findings, data, references, and author information are accurate to the best of the authors’ knowledge.
All relevant co-authors have consented to submission.
Authors must promptly notify the editorial team of any material error discovered after submission.
Submitted manuscripts may undergo an initial editorial assessment to evaluate relevance, completeness, originality, research quality, and compliance with journal policies.
Manuscripts considered suitable may be sent for peer review according to the journal’s published review procedure. The editorial team may request revisions, reject a manuscript, or accept it for publication.
Final decisions are made by the authorized editor or Editorial Board in accordance with the journal’s editorial policies.
Review and publication timelines may vary. The journal does not guarantee acceptance, a specific decision date, or publication within a particular period.
Authors may raise concerns about editorial decisions through the journal’s designated communication channel. Appeals will be considered according to the applicable editorial policy.
Applicable Article Processing Charges (APCs), if any, will be communicated to authors through the journal’s official channels.
Before making payment, authors should confirm the applicable charges, the services covered, the payment recipient, and any additional fees.
Submission alone does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
Payment does not guarantee acceptance, a favourable review, or a particular editorial outcome.
Any additional services or charges must be communicated separately.
Authors should retain payment receipts and official correspondence.
Payments should be made only through payment methods and accounts confirmed by the publisher.
Authors should not make payments to unauthorized agents or third parties claiming to represent the journal.
Refund requests will be assessed according to the publisher’s applicable Refund and Cancellation Policy and the circumstances of the case.
Authors wishing to withdraw a manuscript must submit a written request through the corresponding author. The journal may request confirmation that all co-authors agree to the withdrawal.
A manuscript must not be withdrawn merely to submit the same work elsewhere while it remains under consideration, without first obtaining confirmation that the withdrawal has been processed.
If a manuscript has already been published, ordinary withdrawal is generally not appropriate. Corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions may be considered where justified by research errors, ethical concerns, legal requirements, or other significant circumstances.
No provision in these Terms excludes any refund or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
IJASR expects authors, reviewers, and editors to follow accepted standards of research integrity and ethical scholarly publishing.
The journal does not permit:
Plagiarism or unattributed use of another person’s work.
Fabrication or falsification of data or research results.
Duplicate or redundant publication without appropriate disclosure.
Improper authorship or undisclosed changes to authorship.
Citation manipulation or deceptive research practices.
Misrepresentation of permissions, approvals, affiliations, or findings.
Where concerns arise, the journal may request explanations, supporting information, or relevant approvals. Depending on the circumstances, editorial action may include rejection, suspension of review, correction, an expression of concern, or retraction of a published article.
Authors are responsible for obtaining any required ethics committee approval, informed consent, permissions, and other authorizations relevant to their research.
The journal may use plagiarism-detection tools, editorial checks, and other appropriate methods to assess submitted manuscripts.
Similarity scores are not, by themselves, a definitive determination of plagiarism. Editorial decisions may consider the nature, source, context, and extent of overlapping material.
Authors may be asked to clarify similarities, provide source documents, or revise their manuscripts where appropriate.
Authors retain copyright unless a separate written agreement or applicable licence provides otherwise.
Upon acceptance, authors may be required to grant IJASR the non-exclusive or other expressly stated rights necessary to publish, distribute, display, preserve, and promote the article.
The precise copyright arrangement and any licence governing reuse must be stated in the applicable publishing agreement or article record.
Authors must not submit material for which they lack the necessary rights or permissions.
Third-party material remains subject to its respective copyright and licence conditions.
Where an article is designated as open access, its access and reuse conditions will be stated on the journal website or in the published article.
Free online reading does not automatically mean that all content may be reproduced, adapted, or commercially reused without restriction.
Readers and authors must follow the copyright notice and licence applicable to each article. Where no open licence is expressly stated, applicable copyright law and the rights granted by the copyright holder govern reuse.
Authors may be asked to review proofs or confirm publication details before publication.
Authors must carefully check names, affiliations, article titles, references, tables, figures, and other publication information.
After publication, requests for correction will be assessed according to their nature and significance. Substantive errors affecting the reliability or interpretation of an article may require a formal correction, expression of concern, or retraction.
The journal reserves the right to publish appropriate editorial notices to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
Reviewers are expected to:
Treat manuscripts and associated information as confidential.
Provide objective, constructive, and evidence-based assessments.
Identify potential ethical concerns or significant errors.
Disclose conflicts of interest.
Decline reviews when they lack relevant expertise or cannot complete the review appropriately.
Avoid using unpublished information for personal or professional advantage.
Reviewers must not share or distribute confidential manuscripts without authorization.
The journal and publisher may process personal information such as names, email addresses, affiliations, telephone numbers, submitted manuscripts, reviewer comments, and publication records for legitimate editorial, administrative, communication, and publication purposes.
Information may be shared with editors, reviewers, service providers, or other parties where reasonably necessary for the relevant service, subject to applicable requirements and confidentiality obligations.
The journal will take reasonable measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or loss.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy and laws in force. Users should consult the journal’s Privacy Policy for additional information about data collection, use, retention, and applicable rights.

The journal may restrict access, investigate suspected misuse, or take appropriate action where necessary to protect its systems, users, and services.
The website may link to external websites or use third-party services for hosting, communications, payments, manuscript handling, or other operational purposes.
External services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. IJASR does not control all third-party systems and cannot guarantee their continuous availability, accuracy, or security.
The inclusion of an external link does not, by itself, constitute endorsement, accreditation, indexing, or formal affiliation.
The journal may provide information about its indexing, abstracting, identifiers, or other academic services where applicable and verifiable.
No statement in these Terms constitutes a guarantee of acceptance into any indexing database, ranking system, impact-factor service, or academic evaluation programme.
Authors should independently verify any indexing or recognition claim through the relevant service’s official website.
The journal makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate website information and reliable publication services. However, website content may occasionally contain errors, become temporarily unavailable, or require updating.
The views and conclusions expressed in published articles are those of their authors and do not necessarily represent the views of the journal, publisher, editors, or reviewers.
Publication does not constitute a guarantee that every finding, method, or conclusion is error-free or suitable for every purpose.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the journal and publisher shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from temporary website unavailability, third-party service interruptions, or reliance on information provided by independent third parties.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including any non-waivable rights or remedies.
The journal will not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances reasonably beyond its control, including natural disasters, public emergencies, power or internet failures, cyber incidents, government restrictions, or major third-party service disruptions.
Where practicable, the journal will take reasonable steps to resume affected services and communicate significant delays.
Questions or complaints concerning submissions, editorial conduct, publication charges, corrections, or these Terms should be sent to the official contact addresses listed below.
The journal will review complaints in good faith and, where appropriate, refer them to the responsible editorial or publishing representative.
Nothing in this section prevents a person from exercising any legal right or seeking a remedy available under applicable law.
IJASR may revise these Terms and Conditions when necessary to reflect changes in its services, publication practices, or applicable legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on the website with an updated revision date. Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law. Continued use of the relevant services after an update indicates acceptance where legally valid.
These Terms and Conditions are intended to be governed by the applicable laws of India.
Any dispute shall be handled by a competent court or authority with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in this clause removes any mandatory legal protection or jurisdiction that applies to a user.
