International Journal of Agricultural Studies and Research (IJASR)
The International Journal of Agricultural Studies and Research (IJASR) is committed to respecting authors’ rights, protecting intellectual property, and promoting the ethical dissemination of agricultural research. The journal expects all authors, editors, reviewers, and readers to respect copyright laws and applicable licensing conditions.
Authors retain copyright of their work unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that they have the necessary rights and permissions to publish the material. Upon acceptance, authors grant IJASR the necessary rights to publish and distribute the article in accordance with the journal’s publishing terms.
Authors submitting manuscripts to IJASR confirm that:
The manuscript is original and has not been published previously, except where prior publication has been disclosed and approved by the journal.
The manuscript does not unlawfully use or infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
All listed authors have made appropriate contributions, approved the final manuscript, and agreed to its submission.
The research and its presentation are accurate and honest to the best of the authors’ knowledge.
All sources, data, images, tables, and other materials taken from third parties are properly acknowledged and used with the required permissions.
Authors retain copyright in their work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
When a manuscript is accepted for publication, authors grant IJASR the rights necessary to publish, reproduce, distribute, display, and make the article available online.
These rights may include:
Publishing the article on the journal’s website.
Distributing the article electronically for academic and research purposes.
Including the article in suitable scholarly databases, repositories, or indexing services where applicable.
Preserving and providing access to the article in accordance with the journal’s actual archiving arrangements.
Publication rights do not automatically transfer ownership of copyright from the author to the journal.
IJASR aims to make its published research freely accessible to readers. Readers may access articles without subscription charges, subject to the applicable copyright and licensing terms.
Readers must acknowledge the original authors and cite the published source appropriately. Any permitted copying, redistribution, adaptation, or commercial reuse must comply with the licence stated on the individual article.
The applicable licence will be identified on the article or its accompanying publication information. No particular Creative Commons licence should be assumed unless it is expressly stated.
Reproduction or reuse of published material must comply with the applicable copyright law and the licence attached to the article.
Where permission is required, users must obtain authorization from the relevant copyright holder before:
Reproducing substantial portions of an article.
Republishing an article or substantial parts of it in another publication.
Reusing figures, tables, photographs, or other copyrighted material beyond the permitted licence or legal exceptions.
Using material in a manner that infringes copyright or violates applicable licensing conditions.
Nothing in this policy removes rights that readers may have under applicable law or an expressly stated open licence.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that:
Their manuscripts are original and properly referenced.
All borrowed ideas, quotations, data, images, and other materials are appropriately acknowledged.
Required permissions have been obtained before submission.
Their work does not knowingly infringe the rights of other individuals or organizations.
All necessary declarations concerning authorship, conflicts of interest, and research ethics are accurate.
Authors must respond promptly to reasonable requests for clarification or documentation relating to copyright and permissions.
If a manuscript contains material owned by another person or organization, including photographs, figures, tables, maps, questionnaires, or substantial extracts, the authors must:
Obtain written permission where required.
Provide appropriate acknowledgements and source citations.
Follow the original material’s licence and conditions of use.
Supply evidence of permission to the editorial office when requested.
The responsibility for obtaining necessary permissions rests with the authors. IJASR may withhold publication or request replacement of material where the required rights cannot be established.
IJASR does not tolerate plagiarism, unauthorized reproduction, duplicate publication, fabrication or falsification of research data, or other forms of publication misconduct.
If a suspected violation is identified, the journal may:
Request an explanation or supporting documentation from the authors.
Reject the manuscript before publication.
Correct, withdraw, or retract a published article when justified.
Notify the relevant institution or other appropriate organization where warranted.
Restrict future submissions in serious or repeated cases.
Take further action where required by applicable law.
Any action will depend on the nature and seriousness of the concern and the available evidence.
IJASR aims to preserve the accessibility and integrity of its published research. The journal will maintain digital copies and backups in accordance with its available technical and archiving arrangements.
Authors and readers should consult the journal’s published archiving information for details of any external repositories or preservation services. The journal will not claim participation in a specific preservation service unless that arrangement has been established.
IJASR may investigate a published article if credible concerns arise regarding copyright infringement, plagiarism, unreliable findings, research misconduct, or other serious ethical issues.
Depending on the circumstances, the journal may issue a correction, an editorial notice, a retraction, or another appropriate statement.
Removal of an article from public access will generally be considered only where necessary, such as when required by law or to address serious legal or ethical concerns. Where practicable, a notice explaining the action will remain available to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
Subject to the applicable publishing agreement, article licence, and third-party rights, authors may:
Retain copyright ownership of their work.
Use their published research for teaching, presentations, conferences, and academic activities.

Retain ownership of their underlying research data and supplementary materials, subject to third-party rights and other applicable agreements.
Authors should check the licence and publication terms associated with their specific article before reusing or redistributing it.
Anyone who believes that material published by IJASR infringes their copyright may contact the editorial office.
A complaint should include:
The title and URL of the allegedly infringing article or material.
Identification of the copyrighted work and evidence of ownership or authorization to act for the rights holder.

The journal will review the complaint and may request additional information from the complainant or authors. Where appropriate, it may temporarily restrict access to the disputed material while investigating the matter.
The journal will take action proportionate to the evidence and applicable legal requirements.
Authors are responsible for the accuracy, originality, permissions, and lawful use of materials contained in their articles. Publication by IJASR does not constitute a guarantee that every third-party right has been independently verified.
The journal, its editors, and its publisher will address substantiated copyright concerns in accordance with this policy and applicable law. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
Copyright and publication-related disputes will be addressed in accordance with the applicable laws of India, subject to any mandatory legal requirements. Any court proceedings will be subject to the jurisdiction determined under applicable law.
